Common questions
The things people ask before they choose a plan.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time from your profile and you keep access to the end of the period you have paid for. Annual plans run for twelve months and renew unless you cancel from your profile before the renewal date.
Is Metroun Learning included with APC counselling?
Yes. Every RICS APC counselling plan includes full access to Metroun Learning, so your CPD and your chartership run together.
Does the CPD count towards my RICS requirement?
Every course is structured CPD with a certificate at the end, and your record is logged as you learn, ready for your RICS return. RICS asks for 20 hours a year, at least 10 of which must be structured.
What are QS Tools, and which plan has them?
QS Tools are browser tools for the paperwork on a live contract: an NEC early warning notice form with its register, and a meeting minutes tool with action and decision registers. Both download as Excel, Word or PDF on the Metroun template, and nothing you type leaves your browser. They come with the annual plan and every team licence, not the monthly plan. See QS Tools
Do you offer team licences?
Yes. Businesses can put a whole team on Metroun Learning under one licence and one invoice. Tell us how many seats you need and we will send a quote.
How is consultancy priced?
Per engagement. We start with a 15-minute call, then send a written proposal setting out what you get, the benefit and the cost, whether that is a single take-off or a surveyor embedded in your team for a year.
How do I pay?
Metroun Learning is paid by card, Google Pay or PayPal when you sign up. RICS APC counselling starts with a short sign-up form and we take it from there. Consultancy is invoiced under the terms in your proposal.
