Metroun Learning was founded in 2020 by three practising Quantity Surveyors who shared one belief: there had to be a better way to support and educate our profession. What began with a single YouTube video has grown into a global platform trusted by more than 40,000 construction professionals. Today, we deliver structured CPD, APC Counselling, Career Coaching, and Consultancy — all built by Quantity Surveyors, for Quantity Surveyors.
Our mission is to raise the standards of Quantity Surveying worldwide by combining professional education with real-world consultancy. We believe that surveyors need more than just training — they need practical tools, expert guidance, and flexible support to thrive in today’s industry. Whether that’s helping an individual progress to chartership, coaching professionals through career milestones, or delivering direct Quantity Surveying services on live projects, we provide solutions that create measurable results for both people and businesses.

I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) and Director at Metroun Quantity Surveyors, where I focus on combining professional education with hands-on commercial expertise. Since co-founding Metroun in 2020, I have helped build a platform trusted by over 40,000 construction professionals worldwide, delivering CPD-accredited training, APC counselling, career coaching, and consultancy support on live projects. My career journey has given me experience across major infrastructure and utilities, shaping the practical approach I bring to supporting surveyors and businesses today. I am passionate about developing the next generation of surveyors and regularly share insight through industry platforms, including the RICS Podcast.
As a co-founder of Metroun, I feel proud to be able to give something back to a profession I still practice and genuinely love. What started as a simple idea (making complex topics easier to understand) has grown into a platform that supports nearly every part of a quantity surveyor’s journey: the learning, the chartership, the progression, and the practice. Outside of Metroun, you’ll find me kicking a ball around in the veterans league (yes, I’m at that stage already) or trying to make my son laugh. I know one day he’ll roll his eyes at my jokes, but for now, I’m enjoying every moment. They say, “Do something you enjoy and it never feels like work.” I truly love what I do… although let’s be honest, nobody can claim an adjudication isn’t hard work.
I am a Director and Co-Founder of Metroun Quantity Surveyors, bringing a strong background in commercial management across highways, utilities, and infrastructure. Since co-founding Metroun in 2020, I have focused on combining technical expertise with a drive for innovation, helping surveyors and businesses achieve compliance, clarity, and commercial success. At Metroun, I lead on delivering CPD-accredited training, consultancy on NEC and JCT contracts, and solutions that support teams in reducing disputes and maximising value. My career experience in delivering large-scale frameworks and managing high-performing commercial teams underpins the practical and outcome-focused approach I take today.
